Assalamua'laikum wahai sahabat-sahabat ku sekelian....
Salam Sejahtera kepada kamu, agar sekian di cucuri rahmat Allah dan diberikan kesihatan dari-NYA. Insya'Allah.

Gua Happy! Gua Happy! Gua Happy!
Finally, gua punya leave untok 8 haribulan Januari sampai 12 haribulan Januari sudah di-approve oleh manager gua. Selepas gua tunjukkan 'evidence' gua pada diatu, barulah dia angkat talipon kat meja dia tu, lalu berkata kepada administrator gua, "Can you please immediately approve Norliza's leave from 8th of January onwards...." katanya begitu. Oh!
It's been 8 long years since I've gone visiting my blood-land, Java. Due to the fact of the economic turmoil and racial/religious fights which happened in 1998, I stayed low from embarking on a visit to Java. How I had missed Jogjakarta so much, I longed to see the ancient Javanese structures there. And during these years, I have obtained quite a number of grandchildren there. Them being the children of my nieces... And how my nieces got married way, way earlier than me, Tante Lis, as they call me. Hehehe.. Life, my gals, in S'pore is much different than in where you grew up. I am a rocking rolling stone while you gals are the fairies of the netherworld. Gosh! I've even forgotten their names! Gotta go refresh from my uncle, then. My aunt, who is a native of Kendal, is almost 70 years of age and she is growing weak... I must go see her. My two cousins, both of them almost 50 years old, their names are Bunyamin and Arifin. The latter is a school principal and the former is a simple Wak-Kang. Arifin has a house on the upper lands where water runs free from the mountains to the bathrooms. And by twilight, the air is chilly. My uncle says we have to stay at Arifin's house throughout the whole visit. Because he knows I am rather picky, he assures there is an iron and a washing machine ready for my usage. Frankly speaking, I don't like dirty laundry.

Wassalam.....

Di-mata mu, mencerminkan rindu
Di-mata mu, adalah kenyataan
Aku tenggelam dalam lautan kasih sayang mu
Tak mungkin akan ku-lepaskan ikatan ini.
Penuh hitam adalah semalam
Silau mata, dari kilauan cinta
Hatiku ini, sayang, tak mungkin berubah
Selagi kau berpegang teguh pada janji....

*Setiap kata yang terucap,
*Setiap nada yang tercipta, hanyalah untuk mu
*Satu tak terpisah......
*Seribu tahun takkan mungkin,
*Bisa menghuraikan semua, cinta yang kau beri
*Untuk diriku yang rindu...

Aku tenggelam dalam lautan kasih sayang mu
Tak mungkin akan ku-lepaskan ikatan ini.
Hatiku ini, sayang, tak mungkin berubah
Selagi kau berpegang teguh pada janji....

These are the kind of movies that captures my spirit during which I indulge big-time in them. The type of movies I loved are period dramas, mafia-gun-trotting movies by Coppola and Scorsese, thrillers and more psycho thrillers. Gimme any Coppola / Scorsese movie, I'll indulge anytime, baby!

NEW MOVIE COMING UP! A movie by Martin Scorsese, Gangs Of New York. Sneaks showing on 24th December at midnight. Starring the lame Leo Dicaprio, the slut Cameron Diaz and the thug Daniel Day Lewis. Storyline quite lembik lah, but just check out the language, excellent visuals and violence spilling out from it!

Happy Indulging my friends!

Saturday Afternoon's Lament by LiZa.

T'was Raining Cats & Dogs

T'was a raining cats & dogs afternoon today
T'was a raining cats & dogs today and I don't know
What to do.
T'was a day which had me in a long deep sleep
A long deep sleep
Which had me waking later than normal
Much as much as I realized,
I am gonna be late
Again
Today
ShiT!
In deep trouble am I,
In my haste I have thoughts in my mind
The thoughts that lurks internally for a long, long time.
Indeed, t'was a raining cats & dogs today.

Good morning people!

I am happy that my friends are happy. I don't wish to make a friend unhappy just because I want to be happy. How can I be happy when people are not happy with me? What must I make to see them happy? In short, no-one, baby, no-one can make anybody 100 percent happy. But I am happy because I know my friends are still around to see me alive... hehehe. Happy drugs, anyone? Not!

A few hours back I had seen the wildest antics of my friends. It all started from Mamat, he put out a stake of 50 bucks, we had to guess his, errr, amount of moolah in his wallet. Okay, kinda cool, I thought. Fortunately I won partially and was given a token of 10 bucks which then I donated back to the others to buy nasi lemak and tea. THEN, after some mad chair throwings by Hamad, (crazy Turkish-speaking foul mouth) some playful boxing matches by Fazli, Babat, EzJazz, Thasim, Hamad and Herman, we decided to go on with more guessing games. It went on from shoe sizes to i/c numbers to dollar notes' serial numbers etcetera etcetera, all for the sake of the stakes being offered. Till EzJazz said this game is a total bloody mistake. Buahahahahahahaha! How we bellowed and bellowed and bellowed through the witching hour. For wolves are we, savouring the night, shrouding the day. Anyway thanks to all ye wolfies.... nuff said.

The month of December was full of musical activities, rock ones, though. Red Hot Chilli Peppers Concert - 8th Dec { MISSED IT}. Yngwie Malmsteen's Concert - 19th Dec {MISSED IT}. Mat Rock Alive featuring Urbankarma and others - 20th Dec {MISSED IT}. It all hovered over my head like a flock of migrating cranes. I totally miss all those good concerts becoz why? Becoz I can't make the time... SHAME, SHAME. In the future, then.

But, am I happy or not? My quote of the day : "To be or not to be, that is the question." Hmmmmphh...

Hi! Hi! Welcome to my blog..

Once again am i happy to be blogging here, my friends.

This evening soon right back from work, I plonked down on my mum's comfy swivel chair to savour her nasi lemak
and thence to watch the final 2 episodes of Amazing Race.
This was the most crucial part of the race because it was left with three teams - Teri & Ian, Ken & Gerard and Flo & Zach.
The teams were at Ho Chi Minh, Vietnam and from that city they continued on their excruciating journey onwards to Hanoi,
the capital of Vietnam. Hanoi is a nice city, maybe someday I myself would love to visit and experience Viet.

Now, what really pissed me to death was Flo. She's a whiner, a total loser, a complete quitter and a stinking idiot.
Becoz why? Becoz she keeps saying she can't do it, she's weak, she screams her head off, she cried herself till crazy,
she knows she's weak but hard to admit it. Zach is the one pushing her to go on with the race. Zach is yet so patience with her.
Wonder how Zach could withstand such blows and torture from a freaked out woman like Flo. I was speculating on their quits and loss,
especially to crazy Flo. Very much expecting them both to go home sore losers. However as it turned out, after all the mad rush and runarounds,
Flo and Zach won the race! I wasn't very happy to see Flo leap and shrieked with joy to her winnings. A lot of respect goes to Zach, the strongest
member in that team. Zach, my due respects to you, man. Hail Zach the Gentle Spirit of the Mountains! Flo, your success was such a TOTAL STINK
because it wasn't you who finished the race.. u crooked shrew. Right from the start in Spain, I've condemned you head to toe.

The oldest couple - Teri & Ian, eventhough they went through a damn hard time to catch up with each other, I strongly think that they both played
real hard, real smart and real sport among all! Kudos to you Mummy Teri and Daddy Ian. The next team - brothers Ken & Gerard, cool siblings, man!
I salute you both, bro Ken and bro Gerard. You both should have won the million bucks. But, as I noticed those two brothers, they were playing not only
for the moolah, they had the thrill of their lives throughout the whole game. That's the spirit and enthusiasm that we liked to see.

Now, now... as I wait anxiously for my annual leave to be approved by my manager.... my trip to Semarang's supposed to be up from 8th January to 13th January.
Sabar itu separuh dari Iman. Namun aku berdoa agar selamat segalanya.

My quote of the day - "Some People Doesn't Even Deserve A Second Thought." (Given to me by my colleague, Yamuna.)
Oh, it's just my stressful day at work. I NEED A BREAK BABY!

Assalamua'laikum guys and gals.....
Alhamdulillah, after a complete one month hiatus from this blog, i am back!
I nearly cancelled this blog away bcoz some people couldn't log in to my site... *Sob Sob*
But what de heck, I will just keep on writing. It's my blog and I'll cry if I want to!

These few months of December, January and February are so full of festivies!

~ December : Raya Aidilfitri (tengah masih on-going, taknak kalah orang-orang ni semua)

: Noel / Hari Natal / X-mas whatever it is. Could be more of Santa Claus' Day (raya belum habis, x-mas deco dah sibuk-sibuk overtake!
Diaorang realize apa true meaning behind Noel besides that forsaken tree, those money-wasting deco, those gifts and worse still - Saint
Nicholas a.k.a Saint Dickless? I'll bash that reindeer of his when I meet him in heaven)

~ January : New Year's Day (gua tahu, ada se-setengah kawan gua tak suka nak celebrate ni hari disebabkan anti-victorian)

~ February : Kong Hee Fatt Choy / Raya Ciner (gua ehem, dah menyambutnya selama 4 tahun. Maklumlah... gua takleh run away, dok!)

: Raya Aidiladha! Yaay... yang ni gua suka sebab dia cuma satu hari saja. Lagipun, it's more meaningful with my Nyai around...
beliau telah menunaikan fardhu haji and we will be accompanying her as she goes through one by one, her experience di tanah suci Mekkah.

Bulan February kalau nak travel pergi Asian region tak payah lah. Lebih baik pergi early March. Because why? Because February ramai orang cina balik kampung!
Bas dan flight pergi K.L full, flight pergi Jakarta full, flight dari mana-mana untuk ke Singapura pon full. So, kalau nak cuba, try book ticket ajelah. Flight mesti overbook punyer! Paling best kalau nak cuti for the weekend, pergi Batam Holiday Inn Resort. Yang itu gua recommend kuat.

Okay, my dear friends... ini hari dah banyak komen, besok boleh komen lagi.

" There is a house in New Orleans they call the rising sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor girl and me, oh God, I'm one.
My mother was a tailor, she sewed these new blue jeans
My sweetheart was a gambler, Lord, down in New Orleans.
Now the only thing a gambler needs is a suitcase and a trunk
And the only time he's satisfied is when he's on a drunk.
He fills his glasses up to the brim and he'll pass the cards around
And the only pleasure he gets out of his life is rambling from town to town.
Oh tell my baby sister not to do what I have done
But shun the house in New Orleans they call the rising sun.
Well with one foot on the platform and the other foot on the train
I'm going back to New Orleans to wear that ball and chain.
I'm going back to New Orleans, my race is almost run
I'm going back to end my life down in the rising sun.
There is a house in New Orleans they call the rising sun
And it's been the ruin of many a poor girl and me, oh God, I'm one."
