Assalamua'laikum.

Change. Exterminate. Dispose. Detoxify. Refreshed. Shunning. Alienating. Shedding. Isolate. Hibernate. Reserved. Sacrifice. Cleanse. New. Isn't these what I like?

Wassalam.

Assalamua'laikum.

A ray of light peeked through the small crack between the metal panels. The craft has successfully landed at the destination intended. It has been a long trip for Ehlissa, from where she took off it was one of those long-haul journeys she has endured. The mighty craft has experienced major hard knocks along the way, its metal surface now dented and scraped off its paint. Ehlissa awoke from her faint. A straying meteorite had hit the tail side of her craft earlier on which shook the whole transporter real badly. She had been thrown off the pilot's seat caused by the near-death turbulence and lay aground with a wounded head. The craft had been set on to auto-pilot the moment it met the unwarned accident. A touch of her hands onto her dizzying head caused Ehlissa to jolt into attention. She looked at her hands. Blood then covered the palm of her hands. She tried to pick herself up. With much effort did she stand, almost stooping, wincing from the pain she encountered. Her tight suit was torn at the forearms. She made her way out of the cockpit in search of her other crews. Every cold body lay silent, strewn over the seats and floorboard. She's left alone for now. To her dismay, she has nobody to save at all. The best she could do was to twist the lever of the craft door and look for any being to turn for help. That was when she heard a whimper from behind her. Her tizzy state caused not much hope for a quick reflection. She turned back slowly and her eyes focused towards one of the seats. In the flickering cabin she saw something which is in dire need of attention. In her stagger, she held out her hands underneath the seat and her hands felt a motion that is of a body of a child. Some water welled in her eyes and she could feel a lump in her throat. Choking back from her uncontrollable tears, she worked her hands through the salvage and thus pulled out the whimpering child trapped underneath. The kid was now crying with fright, the whole drama was far from fair for a chubby child of 4 years. Ehlissa grabbed little Lasychira close to herself, sobbing crazily while at the same time prayed over a thousand times for the lucky find. She stood up, with child in arms and made an exit towards the craft door. She turned the lever up, pushed the metal door out and slide it to the left. Her hair dishevelled, blood down her face and Lasychira weeping by her, she found another horror awaiting outside. The masked soldiers of Arachna were all gathered in hundreds, armed and ready to attack at their Commandant's order. The rebellious assembly faced her, they stared hard. The Arachna symbol tattooed on their biceps seemed somewhat identical to each other. Ehlissa was not keen on giving up. She reached the small of her back and slide her hands over the trigger holder. She was about to slip the ammo out when Lasychira voiced out. "Mum, please for once... It's Mother's Day. I don't wanna see you flicker out in flames for those bastards. I love you Mummy." Ehlissa fell to her knees, weeped at the words spoken from a child bourned of warrior descendants. Between her sobs she whispered, "Oh, my child....."
